Happy Birthday Emme Grace!

Today is Emme's 7th Birthday. Unfortunately she had to stay home from school because she is getting over strep. YES she now has it. Thankfully we caught it before it got bad and so she was feeling good today and just enjoyed her day off from school.

I am ready for the season to be over!!

There are so many things about Emme that we love...

She always makes us laugh-even when we are getting on to her. Really one of my favorite stories about her wittiness is when she was little and she was just having one of those days and I told her that she was real close to me calling her dad and she said "Good I have been wanting to talk to him" I had to turn my head because I was cracking up. Who says that? When I said that to Maddi when she was little she would immediately stop whatever she was doing.

She is a summer girl. She is always in her swimsuit in the summer and we all tease her because she is impossible to talk to in the pool because she won't stay up long enough.

She has such a great imagination. She can keep herself busy anywhere just making up something to play and talking to herself.

She is a great sister.

I love how tender her heart is.

Not to mention we think that she is pretty cute!
She is such a great addition to our family.

We love her so much.
