CHEETAH fAmilY fUn NigHt!

So my girls have been waiting for this night for a long time...
Cheetah Girls-One World.
If you have young girls...you know what I am talking about!!

I tried to find them Cheetah Girls pj's but couldn't find any-so I had to settle for "cheetahish" ones.
They were very excited about them!
(you give Emme pj's or a swimsuit and that girl is so happy)

Even Drew enjoyed the movie. He stopped and danced every time a song came on!

Have a "cheetahlious" weekend!

My Babies Are Growing Up!

Yesterday to end the summer vacation, the girls got to go bowling with their nana and cousins. These girls take their bowling very serious.

Today was their first day of school. Maddi is in 4th Grade and my baby girl went to 1st Grade...all day. I was so sad to see her go, but she was so excited! She is so sweet, she had a little bit of a breakdown last night, she said she was just going to miss me but then she was ready to go this morning.

Off they go...

(don't be fooled, I didn't just let them walk in. I had to wait until they were settled in their classrooms!)

So when they came home, I had to have their favorite desserts ready for them. Maddi loves brownies and Emme loves these fruit pizzas.

Well...then there is Drew. He definitely missed his sisters today. However, he stayed busy with his new thing...walking! He sure thinks he is hot stuff. After he gets to where he is going he stops and claps for himself.

Tough day for a mom...

This is my favorite photo.
Drew loves his papa.

When he saw him for the first time after coming back from vacation, he could not get to him quick enough. Then gave him the biggest hug.

(He kept moving, so the picture is a little blurry)

He looked so cute. He had converses on with his tux!

fAMiLy vAcATIOn

We just got back from our family vacation in Virginia. We went to Virginia Beach and Williamsburg. We had so much fun. It was a little more difficult this year with Drew...but overall, he was pretty good! (It helps he is sooo cute!)
A couple of days we spent at Busch Gardens. Andy and I were definitely feeling old there because our girls wanted to go on about any roller coaster and we were both like "I can't do that one you have to go."

This was one I definitely couldn't do!

I did end up riding the Big Bad Wolf and really couldn't believe that they did and wanted to ride it again!

Poor Drew...he usually just gave in at the end of the day.

As we always do on vacation, we go to waterparks. That is just what we do and my girls are sooo happy there!

Then we were off to Virginia beach for a couple of days

They were so cute playing together in the sand.

One of the days at the beach they went parasailing. Very brave of them however I could tell Maddi was a little nervous. She was so funny. They had these benches there with plaques on them that said "In Loving Memory of...", she said that those were not helping anything. She didn't want to become a bench! She loved it though.

And again...after a long day at the beach

Andy, Maddi and Emme spent a day at Colonial Williamsburg while Drew and I enjoyed a day of shopping. Then the next day, Andy took all 3 of them to the Presidents Park so I could go shop by myself!

It was such a great vacation but it is very nice to be back home and get into the routine again. We are now getting ready for school next week. I can't believe Maddi will be in 4th grade and Emme will go all day to 1st grade!

Missin' Sis

A couple of weeks ago both of my girls got to spend the night with their nana and papa separately. Emme's night was first. Her cousin, Isabella, got to spend the night with her. We are practically with them everyday in the summer, but when she came in they hugged like they hadn't seen each other in forever (it had only been maybe a day)! They had so much fun playing together. The next night was Maddi's and cousin Alexis' night. Throughout the day, Emme became more and more quiet. I just assumed she was just wanting to go back to nana and papa's, it's just always more fun there than at home. But when we were leaving Maddi, I realized what was wrong with Emme. When we got in the car, I said "Emme are just going to miss your sister?" The flood gates were opened. Bursting into tears she said, "I have been trying to keep it in, but my throat is just hurting too bad." She went on to say that she was excited Maddi got to go and have fun but she was just going to miss her. She just needed to have a good cry then was completely fine the rest of the night. She came home and told her dad that she was sorry she had been pouting at dinner. With Emme you never know what you will get sometimes she tells you like it is and then in the next moment can be so sweet and sensitive.
