This is what he looked like when I very first met him. It was probably 15 years ago.
This is a baby picture I found while looking for the others. Drew looks so much like him.

Counting down until it was her turn to mix!

Isn't this really the best part of baking a cake?!

Maddi came home Friday with great news that she had won Student Council for her homeroom class. Last year she had wanted this but she didn't have enough votes. It was so sad. She takes thing that so hard. (who wouldn't?) She came home crying and cried all afternoon. It was hard on all of us to see her like that. However, that didn't deter her this year. She told us at the beginning of the year she was going to go for it again and on Friday they voted and she won. She was so excited.
We are so proud of her and her determination.
We love you Maddi!
We had a carnival party for Drew on his birthday, but he had to give his papa hugs before he started partying!
Alicia did face painting and even my Granddaddy got into the festivities and got a #1 painted on his face.
Drew enjoying nana's sno-cone with her!

He is all boy but he has such a sweet side to him. He is giving out some birthday hugs.
Every boy needs to end his party enjoying some black licorice.
