Iced In...

So with school being called off today and being iced in it was the perfect day to do a little dancing,

a little baking,

( the best part of making chocolate chip cookies)

While the cookies were in the oven they decided it would be a good idea to go out and about in the snow (or sleet or ice??) I knew that about the time the cookies were coming out they would already be back in. It literally took longer to get all the layers on than what they were outside!


When Drew woke up from his nap he got to enjoy the girls' cookies. I think he liked them.



Drew enjoyed his girls' being at home today but they started asking about 10:00 when his naptime was. Bad news...it isn't until 1:00.

We had a great day staying at home and out of the cold, however, I think we will venture out tomorrow since school has been called off again.

Lazy Day

Last week was a very busy for us with all the birthday celebrations. So we all very excited for Saturday and we didn't have anything to do! We went to eat lunch and I ran into a store while the family stayed in the car and watched a movie. (That is the way to shop!) While we were heading home Drew crashed. He never falls asleep in the car.

We met Alicia and her girls' at Chick-fil-A on Tuesday night, which was her birthday. It was family night there and they had a lady painting faces so the girls got theirs done. They are very pretty butterflies!

I just found this picture and thought it was so cute. They have matching shirts on!

Birthday Festivities

We have had a full weekend. It started out taking 4 girls to The Wedge on Friday night. It was a cute little pizza place but all they cared about was the dough that they could play with while we were waiting.

Maddi got creative and made Abraham Lincoln out of her pizza dough.

Then on Saturday we went to see Hotel for Dogs, which was a cute movie but at one point all 4 of them were crying. After that I took them to get their nails done at the salon.

Maddi got her beloved IPOD for her birthday.

The long weekend ended with Maddi going on a date with her daddy. They went to see Mall Cop and eat at her fav place-PF Changs!

Happy Birthday Maddi Rose!

I really can't believe that my baby girl turns 10 today. She really has been a true blessing to Andy and I.

There are so many great things about Maddi. I will just name a few...

She is SO sweet.

She is always willing to help out.

She is a great friend and big sister.

She always tries her best in school and it shows-she has made straight A's this year and last.

We love having Maddi and we consider it a great honor and priviledge to be her parents.

Did you know...

that a slide could be also used as a rocking chair? Well...that is what Drew decided it needed to be the other night!

He was pretty proud of himself!
